CREOLE DU NORD
Dedicated to the traditional sounds of Cajun and Zydeco led by Mark Palms, Creole du Nord captures the Cajun groove with traditional fiddle and accordion backed by a tight rhythm section resulting in music suited for the best of times. Bandleader Mark Palms traced his family roots to Breaux Bridge Louisiana and now brings the uplifting spirit of Louisiana music to the northern great lakes. Mark has spent years learned from some of Louisiana's best... such as Joe Hall, Steve Riley, Blake Miller, Jesse Lege, Ray Abshire, Walter Mouton and more. Creole du Nord has played festivals, dances, and clubs across Michigan and had the great honor of playing at the traditional Wheatland Arts & Music Festival in Remus MI. It doesn't get any better than that!
